Ariel Gail
Prof. Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. She is also the head of the Center for Public Policy Research. Her name is well-known for her pioneering modern research of children's memory as eyewitnesses and also the application of child victims in court contexts. Professor Goodman is an prolific writer, has won many awards and grants. She has advised a variety of government agencies and governments around all over the world on policy as well as research related to the treatment of children victims by the legal system. She is currently a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center at Sacramento County Child Protective Services (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center). She is a part of several professional organizations, such as those of the Association for Psychological Science and the American Psychological Association (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychological Psychology of women and trauma stress 56).
